Fused Glass Self Portraits
Division 2 and Junior and Senior High School
This in depth session allows children to learn how to express themselves using art. The portrait is designed around what is important to the student - who they are rather than what they look like.
This session requires tables for set up and takes approximately 2 hours to complete. Students will learn glass safety, glass cutting, basic fusing techniques and more. The students will develop their own design, cut their own glass, and begin to layer the pieces using their drawing as a guideline. They then add in details using frit and stringer. The finished projects are kiln fired and delivered back to the school.
The cost per student is 34.00 Prices do not include GST.
