Let's dive into the magical world of fused glass art! In this hands-on session, students will explore the wonders of working with sheet glass, frit, stringers, and more.

We focus on unleashing each student's creative flair, resulting in stunning masterpieces.

Our traveling art studio is packed with a dazzling array of glass goodies for students to design with. After creating their artworks, we whisk them back to the studio for kiln firing. We then add jewelry findings or hangers as needed before delivering the finished projects to your school ready to go home.

Basic glass workshops for schools are $14.50 per student. Book three or more classes at the same school on the same day and the cost drops to $13.50 per student.(min 15 students per class)

Prices do not include GST.

For the last 18 years, we have been crafting kiln-fired glass with students ranging from kindergarten to grade 12 at schools in Edmonton and area!

                              Tangram

Target grades: Grade 3 and up

Students build their own design using the 7 pieces of a tangram! We bring dozens of tangram solutions for students to pick from, or they can create their own. This is a great class to make Mothers Day or Fathers day gifts, as students can pick designs that suit their parents!

Story Beads

Target grades: Grade 2 and up

A truly unique class! Before the workshops, students write their own short story and then break that story down into 5 main elements. During our workshop, they create 5 glass beads to represent each element of their story. The beads are returned to each student with a piece of string so they can tie them together in the correct order and forever have the reminder of how to tell their story.

FNMI Story Beads

Target grades: Grade 2 and up

We are privileged to have permission from several Canadian Indigenous authors to use their delightful books as inspiration to build story beads. In preparation for this workshop, we provide your class with your choice of one of the books. Your class reads the story and then students break the story down into 5 elements that stand out to them. During our workshop, each student creates 5 beads based on the story - They then use the beads as a reminder of the story when telling it to others.

Rainbow Fish

Zen Doodle

Target grades:Great for all ages

Inspired by the creativity of zen doodling, this class allows the students a bit more freedom in the creative process. The students build an abstract design focused on color, pattern, and repetition. During this class, students learn how color can express emotion or ideas in abstract artwork. Our favorite part of this class is seeing the completely unique creation that each student makes!
